01Who these terms are with
ELECT-I Global is a trading name. It is operated by HDML, a business established in Egypt. HDML is the seller of record and your counterparty on every order placed through this platform, and the same name appears on your order documents.
"We", "us" and "the platform" in this document mean HDML trading as ELECT-I Global. "You" means the business, and the person acting for it, using the platform.
There is no separate ELECT-I Global legal entity today. Until one is registered, your contract is with HDML (Egypt). We will publish the registration details of any new entity here before moving contracts to it.
Using the site, requesting a quotation, creating an account or placing an order means you accept these terms and the policies linked from them: the privacy policy, the returns and refunds policy, the compliance policy, the intellectual property policy, the shipping and logistics policy and the payment methods policy.
02Who may use the platform
This is a business-to-business platform. By using it you confirm that you are acting for a business, that you are at least eighteen years old, and that you are authorised to bind the business you name on your account or your order.
We may decline an account, an order or a quotation request, including where the goods are restricted in your destination, where the request falls under our compliance policy, or where we cannot lawfully trade with the party involved.
03Accounts and membership
You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your account and for everything done through it. Keep your password and any API secrets to yourself; tell us immediately if you believe either has been exposed.
Membership tiers set the wholesale discount, minimum order handling, prepaid order allowances, API access, team seats and support level that apply to your account. The tier resolved on our servers is the one that governs your pricing — never a tier sent from a browser or an API client.
Paid tiers renew for the period you selected until you cancel. An upgrade applies to orders placed after it takes effect and does not reprice orders already placed. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Membership fees are not pro-rated on cancellation.
Team seats let colleagues act on your account. Everything they do is treated as done by you.
04Catalog, pricing and availability
Catalog prices are unit prices in United States dollars. They exclude freight, insurance, customs clearance, import duties, destination taxes and any local charges, unless a quotation you have accepted states otherwise.
Product listings, specifications, images, stock states and lead times come from suppliers and are indicative. Where a specification is critical to you, confirm it in a quotation request before ordering rather than relying on the listing alone.
Every product carries a minimum order quantity. It is halved for Merchant accounts and waived for Elite accounts, subject to what the supplier is genuinely able to produce or ship.
A listing is an invitation to order, not an offer. Where a price, a specification or an availability state is obviously wrong, we may correct it and decline or cancel the affected order, and we will tell you why. Anything you have already paid for such an order is returned in full.
Supplier labels shown on this platform describe the business documents a supplier has given us. ELECT-I Global does not currently perform factory audits or third-party inspections, and no label is a guarantee of product quality.
05Quotations
A quotation request is free and does not commit you to anything. We log it under a reference and reply to the address you gave.
A quotation states the unit price, the quantity breaks it is based on, the trade term it is priced on, a lead time and a validity date. It is only binding while it is valid and only on the quantities and specification it names.
Unless a quotation explicitly says DDP, it excludes customs clearance and import duties at the destination.
06Orders and payment
An order is formed when we confirm it, not when you submit it. Until confirmation we may decline it — for stock, compliance, pricing error or payment reasons.
Every line on every order is priced on our servers from the catalog at your resolved tier. Lines that do not match a catalog product are marked as custom on the order and priced from the quotation they came from.
Goods are dispatched after payment has cleared in full, unless net terms have been agreed with you in writing and you have chosen credit as the payment source for that order.
The payment methods policy sets out which methods are live, the wallet ledger, top-up limits and refund routes.
07Prepaid orders and claim links
Merchant and Elite accounts can pay for an order on behalf of their own customer. We collect no delivery address from the merchant. Instead the order is held and a single-use claim link is issued for the recipient.
The recipient opens the link, proves it is theirs by entering the reference of their original order, and sees the amount due as zero with the paying merchant named. Where the merchant supplied a snapshot of the original order, the claim page compares two independently computed digests and shows the comparison line by line.
If the two digests disagree, the claim form is withheld entirely and the recipient is told to contact support. We would rather stop a shipment than let someone confirm an order that does not match what they bought.
Claim links expire. An expired or unused link can be reissued by the merchant who created it. Until a recipient confirms their details, the merchant may cancel the order and have the money returned to the source it came from; once details are confirmed, cancellation is no longer available through the API.
The merchant is responsible for the accuracy of what they order on someone else's behalf and for having that person's agreement to receive it.
08Delivery, duties and risk
Delivery is carried out by a courier or a freight forwarder, not by us directly. Typical delivery is 15 to 30 days after dispatch. That is an estimate based on what we normally see, not a guaranteed date.
Prices exclude customs clearance and import duties at the destination. Unless a quotation explicitly states DDP, the recipient is the importer and is responsible for clearance, duties, taxes and any local charges.
Risk passes according to the trade term on the order. Title to the goods passes when we have received payment in full.
Delivery details are the recipient's responsibility. Where a shipment fails because the address, contact number or tax identifier given was wrong or incomplete, redelivery, storage and return costs are payable by the buyer.
09Cancellation, returns and refunds
Problems with a delivered order must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. The returns and refunds policy sets out what qualifies, what evidence we need, and how a case is resolved.
Bulk, custom, private-label and OEM production cannot be returned because you changed your mind. Where production has started to your specification, cancellation is only possible to the extent the supplier will accept it.
Where an order was prepaid by a merchant on a recipient's behalf, any refund goes back to the merchant who paid, not to the recipient.
10Acceptable use
You must not use the platform to source, sell or ship anything prohibited or restricted under our compliance policy, or anything you are not licensed to import at the destination.
You must not scrape the platform, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, probe or attack our infrastructure, resell access to the API, or use another account's credentials.
API keys and webhook secrets are issued to one account. Sharing them, or signing requests for a third party with them, ends API access for that account.
11Intellectual property
The ELECT-I Global name, logo, site design, copy, code and data compilation belong to us. Nothing here grants you a licence to use them beyond viewing and using the platform for its purpose.
Content you send us — product data, images, specifications and brand assets — stays yours. You grant us the licence needed to display and process it in order to run the platform and fulfil your orders, and you confirm you have the right to give that licence.
Rights complaints, and how we handle them, are covered by the intellectual property policy.
12Warranties and liability
Goods are supplied with the specification stated on the order or the accepted quotation. Manufacturer warranties, where they exist, pass to you; we will help you use them but we are not the manufacturer.
We do not warrant that a listing's supplier data, lead time or stock state is free of error, that the platform will be uninterrupted, or that goods will clear customs in any particular time.
Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability for any order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for lost profit, lost contracts, lost data, storage or demurrage charges, or any indirect or consequential loss.
Neither side is liable for failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including carrier failure, customs action, port closure, natural disaster, conflict, sanctions and government restriction.
13Suspension, termination and changes
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or our compliance policy, that we are required to stop dealing with, or that shows signs of fraud. Where we suspend an account, we say so on the account itself rather than leaving it silently broken.
You can stop using the platform at any time. Closing an account does not cancel orders already in production or shipped, and does not remove records we are required to keep.
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows when they last changed. Orders already confirmed are governed by the version in force when they were confirmed.
14Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction.
Before starting proceedings, write to us. Most disputes about a shipment turn out to be a documentation or clearance problem that we can resolve directly, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Write to us and a person will answer. If your question is about a specific order, include the order number.
